Witness Appeal After Man Assaulted In Banbridge
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was reportedly dragged from his car and assaulted by masked attackers in the Brookfield Meadows area of Banbridge on Saturday evening.
Police received a report shortly before 7.30pm on Saturday 19 September that several masked men pulled the victim from his vehicle before kicking and punching him multiple times.
Officers attended alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The injured man, who sustained injuries to his face, arms and legs, was taken to hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who saw anything, or who has information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact police via the witness appeal form at reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals, quoting reference 1235 of 19/09/26, or by calling 101.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.
