Five arrested in counterfeit operation
Police have arrested five people and seized a number of items in relation to a counterfeit goods probe following a number of searches in Belfast, Larne and Bangor.
Tuesday’s searches were a follow-up to an operation in September when police seized £175,000 worth of counterfeit CDs, DVDs, clothing and jewellery during the Auld Lammas Fair in Ballycastle.
Two 16-year-olds, one male and one female, are among those expected to appear before magistrates on Wednesday.

Suspected Counterfeit Goods Seized In L'Derry
The PSNI's District Support Team (DST) has conducted a number of searches in L'Derry early today, Wednesday, 31 May. The searches were conducted with support of Tactical Support Group colleagues. A number of items were seized during the searches, including suspected counterfeit clothes and jewellery. A sum of cash was also seized.
