Family escape injury in bomb attack
A family has escaped injury following a bomb attack on their home in Co Londonderry last night.
The device exploded outside the house at Drumard Park in Maghera at about 11.30pm causing damage to the front door and family car.
The woman, her three-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter and 17-year-old son were in bed at the time, reported hearing a large bang followed by a second louder blast.
Police are trying to establish a motive for the attack. The remains of the device have been taken away for examination.
Elsewhere, police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the grounds of a primary school in Co Down on Monday morning.
The body was discovered near to the school buildings at Croob Park in Ballynahich.
Police said the death did not appear to be suspicious and are investigating the incident on behalf of the coroner.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Investigation Launched After Shots Fired At Car In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a car in Co L'Derry. The attack happened in the Marianus Park area just after 10.20pm on Sunday, 25 March. A number of bullet holes were discovered in the bonnet of the vehicle which was unoccupied and parked in the area. No-one was injured in the attack.

Man shot in west Belfast
A man has been wounded in a gun attack at a house in west Belfast. A police spokesperson said that a caller to the house in Hawthorn Street had produced a gun and shot the man in the side. An ambulance was called to the scene, however the man was not taken to hospital. His injuries have been described as minor.

Three arrested in McIlveen murder probe
Police investigating the murder of a Ballymena schoolboy Michael McIlveen have today arrested three people. A man and a woman are currently being questioned over assisting an offender, and a teenager is also being held on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

Muslim family endure attack on family home
A gang of around ten men has targeted the County Armagh home of a Muslim family in what is thought to have been a racially motivated attack. The attack occurred at around 2.30am on Saturday morning when the family were at home in their house in the Enniskeen area of Craigavon.
