Women attacked with tar in west Belfast

Police are appealing for information after two women were attacked and covered in tar in their west Belfast home at the weekend.

Three hooded men smashed the front windows of a house in Hopewell Crescent in the Shankill area at about 6.50pm on Sunday before entering the property and throwing a tar-like substance over the two women.

The masked men then informed one of the women that they had 12 hours to get out of the house.

Police have not established a motive for the attack and have appealed for witnesses to contact them on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers at 0800 555111.

A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th.
