Belfast GEMS Jobs Fair to be held at Laganside
Laganside Corporation is to support the forthcoming Belfast GEMS Jobs Fair extravaganza in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast.
Up to 1,200 companies will be in the Studio on Thursday 17th February with the showcase Jobs Fair guaranteed to result in successful employment in some of Northern Ireland’s top organisations.
David Lockhart, Laganside Corporation, said: “Laganside is delighted to be supporting the Belfast GEMS Jobs Fair, recognising the potential in both Northern Ireland’s job seekers and the plethora of employers in the Laganside area.
“Together with the organisers of the Jobs Fair, TIME Associates, we hope this event will facilitate many successful links between employers and employment seekers.”
Whether you are a chef or a postman, interested in customer services or accounts, the Jobs Fair has something to offer you. Participating companies include Royal Mail, Northbrook Technology, Malmaison, NI Civil Service and many more.
The Jobs Fair is open to the public from 10am to 7pm. The event will be officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tom Ekin and Kyle Alexander, Chief Executive, Laganside.

Offshore Company Axes Jobs
Around 150 jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee have been axed after an offshore services company ceased trading. Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close when the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support. Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee and offshore.
