Drainage scheme to begin in Castlereagh
The DRD Water Service has confirmed that work will start on a sewer improvement scheme in Castlereagh on Monday.
The work will involve the upgrading of existing drainage pipelines on the Old Dundonald Road and Comber Road with work lasting approximately 16 weeks.
A Water Service spokesperson said: "This essential work is being undertaken as part of continuing improvement and upgrading of infrastructure in the area.
“Some disruption due to the works will unfortunately be unavoidable and Water Service and the contractor have carefully programmed the works to minimise inconvenience.”
Traffic light controls will be in operation on Comber Road at the junction of Old Dundonald Road and Grahamsbridge Road from 9.30am to 4.30pm between 25 April to 27 May and 22 August to 26 August 2005.
"The Old Dundonald Road will be closed to through traffic from the junction of Comber Road to Wanstead Road between the dates of 30 May to 1 July 2005. Diversions will be in place and traffic management measures will be signposted,” the spokesperson added.

A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
