Armed man threatens staff in supermarket robbery
A man armed with a handgun has threatened a member of staff during a supermarket robbery in County Armagh.
The incident happened at the Lidl shop on the Armagh Road in Portadown at around 8.50pm on Thursday.
The man, who was described as wearing a black bomber jacket, a baseball cap, and with a scarf over his face, escaped with an undisclosed sum of money from the till.
Detectives are asking to speak to anyone who was in or outside the shop when the robbery occurred.

A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in west Belfast. The robbery happened at a shop on Caffrey Avenue at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 27 February. The suspect threatened a member of staff and made off with a sum of cash and cigarettes. He was arrested on Wednesday, 28 February, and has been detained in police custody.
