Three men stabbed in Newry
Three men have been treated in hospital for ‘severe’ stab wounds following an incident at a house in Newry, Co Down on Thursday.
The stabbings occurred at the house in the city's Canal Street area in the early hours of the morning.
The three men have been treated in hospital however their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A number of people have been arrested, however police still wish to speak to three women from Newry who it is understood left the scene shortly before officers arrived.
Detectives believe the women may have more information on how the men sustained their injuries.
They have asked them to contact the police at Ardmore in the city.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Man beaten with iron bar at home
A man has been beaten with an iron bar at his home in Markethill, Co Armagh. The man, who is believed to be in his 60's, was asleep with his wife when three men burst into his bedroom and struck him on the head. They then ransacked the house and made off with a sum of money.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Police have appealed for information following what is thought to be two connected burglaries in County Down last night. In the first incident, a 30-year-old man and his father were left traumatised after three men entered their house in Warrenpoint just before 7.30pm.

Four people have been arrested after police seized £8,000 worth of cannabis in Portadown. The seizures were made after a number of house searches in the Churchill Park area on Monday, 03 October. A sum of cash was also seized.
