Remembrance service to be held for Lisa Dorrian

A remembrance service is to be held for murdered Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian later today.

The 25-year-old shop assistant was last seen at a party on a caravan site in Ballyhalbert, Co Down, in February.

The service is to be held in the Church of the Holy Redeemer in Ballyholme, Bangor, on Friday evening.

On Wednesday, it was confirmed that a forensic scientist looking at the cases of the 'Disappeared' during Northern Ireland's 'Troubles' will also be able to work on Lisa's case.

Loyalist paramilitaries, and in particular the Loyalist Volunteer Force (LVF), are thought to have been behind Lisa’s murder, however the LVF has denied any involvement in the killing.

Despite a £10,000 reward offered by the family for information leading to the recovery of her body, no information has been forthcoming.
