Former SDLP councillor's home paint bombed
The home of a former SDLP councillor has suffered damage in an attack in County Tyrone last night.
Anne Bell, who is also a former member of the Strabane District Policing Partnership, had three paint bombs thrown at her house on Knockavoe Crescent on the Ballycolman Estate, at around 8pm.
An adjoining house was also damaged in the incident along with a car, which was parked outside at the time.
Inspector Graham Dodds of Strabane PSNI condemned the incident.
He said: "Those responsible for this attack have nothing to offer the community of Strabane.
"This incident has caused great distress to the householder and her family."
Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact them in Strabane on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a serious arson attack in the Clon Dara area of L'Derry on Saturday, 23 November. Shortly before 8.20pm, police received a report that an accelerant had been used to ignite the front door and letterbox of a house in the area.

Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Police are appealing for information to help trace missing Strabane woman Lesley McHugh. The 69-year-old was last in contract with her family at around 11pm on 06 January. She is described as being approximately 5ft 6inches tall, of slim build with brown hair. Searches are ongoing along the River Mourne into the River Foyle.
