Man shot dead in West Belfast
A 22-year-old man has died following a shooting incident in west Belfast.
The shooting occurred in the Wilton Street area of the Shankill Road at around 7.45pm on Thursday evening.
The victim was taken to hospital in a serious condition, and it was later confirmed by police that the man had died.
The circumstance of the shooting are under investigation.
Police said that the victim had been found in his flat following reports of a shooting incident in the area.
Police have appealed for anyone with information on the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead in west Belfast. The attack happened at a house in Glenwood Court, Poleglass, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, 20 October. He has been named locally as Joe Reilly, aged 43.
