Men injured as scaffolding collapses
Three men have been injured after the scaffolding they were working on collapsed in Londonderry.
It is believed that the scaffolding had been erected to enable the cleaning of the roof of a building in the Moore Walk area of the city.
Three workmen were hurt in the incident and one of the men required medical treatment at the scene. The severity of their injuries is not yet known.
Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive have been called in to investigate the collapse of the scaffolding.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Man beaten with iron bar at home
A man has been beaten with an iron bar at his home in Markethill, Co Armagh. The man, who is believed to be in his 60's, was asleep with his wife when three men burst into his bedroom and struck him on the head. They then ransacked the house and made off with a sum of money.

Man Dies Following Collision In Ballymoney
A 21-year-old man has died after he sustained serious injuries in a car crash in County Antrim almost three weeks ago. John Reid, from Ballymena, was one of two men injured in the single car collision on the Kilraughts Road on 30 August. Mr Reid died in hospital on Thursday. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Three man and three teenage boys have been charged to appear in court in connection with violent disorder in Belfast on Tuesday, 06 August. The men, aged 26, 28 and 41, were arrested in connection to the report of damage to homes and cars in the Rathlin Street area of Belfast.

NI company investigates scaffolding collapse
An inquiry is being launched after three workers were injured during the collapse of scaffolding on a Milton Keynes building site, managed by a County Tyrone construction company. McAleer and Rushe officials and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating how the 14 storeys of scaffolding surrounding the hotel and housing site fell down.
