Man shot in leg in Bangor

A 20-year-old man has been shot in the leg in what police described as a paramilitary style attack.

The man was walking along Hillcrest Walk at around 7pm on Sunday when he was grabbed by two men close the Whitehill bonfire site.

Shot once in the left leg, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or who has any information on the attack is asked to contact detectives in Bangor on 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111

A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A man in his 30's has been shot in the leg in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast on Sunday night, 07 October. The attack happened in the Norglen Road area of the city near Monagh Crescent. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are said to be "potentially life-changing".
