Petrol bomb attack on west Belfast home
Police in west Belfast have appealed for information following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Ballymurphy.
The device was thrown at a house in the Glenalena Park area of the city at around 4.30 this morning, however it failed to ignite. A wheelie bin was also set alight in a nearby entry. No one was injured in the incident.
This follows reports of windows being broken in a house on the same street in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police believe that both attacks may be linked to the murder of 39-year-old Gerard Devlin who was murdered as he called to collect his children from Whitecliff Parade in the area on February 3.
Four members of a family have been charged in connection with his death.
