Man shot in paramilitary style attack in east Belfast
Police in east Belfast are appealing for information after a man was shot in a paramilitary style attack last night.
The 27-year-old victim was in the Victoria Park area of the city when the incident happened.
He suffered a gunshot wound to his left leg and was taken to hospital where his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Police were alerted to the shooting at around 8.55pm.
Detectives have asked for anyone who may have any information on the attack to contact them at Strandtown station on 0845 600 800 or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information after a man was shot during a paramilitary style attack at the weekend. The incident happened in the Parkmount Terrace area of north Belfast at around 9.15pm on Saturday evening, when a 24-year-old man was attacked from behind by two men.

A 22-year-old man has been treated in hospital after being shot in a paramilitary style attack in west Belfast last night. The victim is believed to have been taken by a number of masked men into an area of Tullymore Gardens in Andersonstown where he was shot once in each ankle.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Colin Horner
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner in Bangor, Co Down. Mr Horner was fatally shot outside a supermarket in from of his young son on 28 May this year. The suspect has been taken to Musgrave police station to be questioned.

A youth has been shot and injured in a paramilitary-style attack in west Belfast last night. Police said the 17-year-old remains in a non-life threatening condition in hospital.
