Police appeal for information following possible abduction attempt
Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information following a possible abduction attempt yesterday evening.
Two men are believed to have approached three children, two girls aged 12 and seven, and a boy aged ten outside a supermarket filling station on the Sweep Road at around 6pm.
The men are believed to be in their late teens or early 20's, and may have been driving an old style, green coloured Vauxhall Astra car.
The man driving the vehicle is described as having short brown hair and was wearing a Manchester United Football shirt and the passenger was wearing an orange coloured jumper.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed anything in connection with the incident should contact them on 0845 600 8000, or on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police Appeal After Man Dies In Castlewellan Collision
A man, aged in his 50s, has died in a collision in Castlewellan. The crash happened on the Carnreagh Road on Monday, 05 December, between 9.30am and 10am. The PSNI are appealing for witnesses who saw a purple coloured Isuzu pick-up truck and trailer to contact them. The road was closed, however it has since been re-opened.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police appeal for information following north Belfast robbery
Police in north Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery in a convenience store in the area last night. A masked man, believed to be armed with a handgun, entered the shop on the lower Antrim Road at around 9pm. He threatened staff before making off with the contents of a safe, which has been reported as being substantial.

Appeal For Information On Incident In West Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a violent incident in west Belfast on Tuesday, 13 June. According to police, at around 1.30pm yesterday, three men approached a property in the Fallswater Street area. At the property, one of the three men is believed to have produced a firearm and threatened a female residence.
