Two arrested in connection with Thomas Devlin murder
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman in connection with the investigation into the fatal stabbing of north Belfast schoolboy Thomas Devlin.
There are no further details as yet, however it is understood that the arrests were made this morning in Belfast.
Thomas Devlin, 15, was murdered close to his home on the Sommerton Road last August after going to a local shop to buy sweets with friends.
He was stabbed five times during attack.
PSNI have previously carried out a number of searches in the nearby loyalist Mount Vernon estate, and have removed a number of items for forensic examination.
A sectarian motive has been one of many considered by police, and despite a number of people being questioned about the murder, no one has been charged.
