Arson attack on County Antrim house

Police in County Antrim are investigating the circumstances surrounding a petrol bomb attack on a house in Rathenraw last night.

Minor scorch damage was caused to the house, however no one was injured when a petrol bomb was thrown at the property in the Kent Court area of Rathenraw just after 11.15pm.

Detectives in Antrim are currently investigating a possible motive for the attack.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or have noticed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the attack, should contact police on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Petrol bomb attack in County Antrim
A number of windows have been broken and one person has been treated in hospital following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Ballymena, County Antrim. Police have said that a female was alone in the property in the Chiswick Walk area of Dunclug, shortly after 10pm yesterday evening when the attack happened.

An 18-day-old baby came close to serious injury following a petrol bomb attack in north Belfast. Two homes in Twaddell Avenue were attacked at about 11.00pm on Tuesday night.

Four Escape Injury In Petrol Bomb Attack
Four people have escaped injury after their house was set alight in a petrol bomb attack. The incident occurred at about 02:25 in the early hours of this morning at a property on Culbane Road, Portglenone, County Antrim. It has been reported that the porch of the house was set alight by the petrol bomb.

15 Arrested Over Petrol Bomb Attack
Fifteen people have been arrested in relation to a petrol bomb attack in County Antrim. The device was thrown at a house in Ballykeel in the early hours of Sunday morning. A man, who faced the gang, was treated for a head injury. Windows were also smashed in a car which was parked outside the house.
