North Belfast call centre to cut jobs
American firm Teletech are to cut a number of jobs at its premises in Duncairn in north Belfast.
The company has not yet revealed exactly how many jobs are to be cut.
Teletech currently employs around 200 people at its north Belfast call centre, and it has been reported that they recently won a contract to handle enquiries for the government's valuation and lands agency.
The company, which was launched with an Industrial Development Board Funding grant in 2000, had plans to employ up to 900 people, however this now looks to be highly unlikely.
