Man robbed by armed gang in Belfast
Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery in east Belfast last night.
The victim was walking along East Bridge Street, close to the junction of Stewart Street, between 7pm and 7.30pm, when he was approached by three males.
The man was struck in the face by one of the youths, then kicked and punched to the ground by all three.
A craft knife was then held to the victims face while attacker stole a sum of cash from him.
The man was taken to hospital where he as treated for cuts and bruises to his face and body.
The youths are described as being around 17-years-old, 5' 7" in height and of skinny build.
Two had shaved heads and were wearing green and white striped Celtic shirts.
One of the males had a star tattooed on his left ear.
The third assailant was wearing a black hooded top, and had curly hair.
Anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who may have any information on the identity of those responsible, should contact detectives on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Man Charged In Connection With East Belfast Murder
A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of another man in East Belfast. At around 12.10am on Sunday, police received a report that a man had been injured at a house in Titania Street. The victim, aged 29, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

'Broad Daylight' Stab Victim 'Stable'
As a 25-year-old Belfast stabbing victim remains seriously ill in hospital, a local MLA has called for greater cooperation with the police. The man - who is being treated for stomach wounds - was attacked at a house at Epworth Street in east Belfast during daylight hours at about 1.30pm on Saturday. His condition is described as stable.

Couple gagged and bound during east Belfast robbery
Police in east Belfast have appealed for information after a couple were assaulted by robbers in their home at the weekend. The attack happened at around 2.30am on Saturday, when three masked men, one armed with a hammer, confronted the man and his wife in their house in the Tillysburn area in the east of the city and demanded money.
