Police seize drug tablets in Belfast
Police in south Belfast have recovered what is believed to be a substantial quantity of ecstasy tablets.
A police spokesperson said that the tablets had an estimated street value of around £50,000.
The tablets were recovered after police spoke to the occupants of a car in Glengall Street at around 6pm on Sunday.
Three people were arrested for questioning regarding the seizure.

10,000 ecstasy tablets recovered by police
Police have recovered 10,000 ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of £10,000 in north Belfast last night. The drugs were recovered after a car was stopped at Fortwilliam Park at around 9pm on Thursday night. A 22-year-old man, who was driving the car, ran off but was later apprehended and arrested by police.

Death Of Man In West Belfast Not Being Treated As Suspicious
Police have launched an investigation following the death of a man in west Belfast. The man's body was discovered in the Paris Street area on Sunday night. Police said they are not treating the death as suspicious. A post-mortem is to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Drugs finds in Dunmurry and Derry
A 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman have been arrested after the seizure of a kilo of cocaine in Dunmurry. Police said that the drugs were recovered from a car at around 4:30pm on Monday. Elsewhere, police said that two men were arrested following the discovery of a quantity of suspected drugs in a car in Dungiven, Co Londonderry.

Drugs Seized During Search In South Belfast
Police have seized drugs during a search in the Carryduff area of south Belfast on Tuesday, 13 June. A large amount of white powder, suspected to be a Class A drug, was discovered, as well as a liquid substance and orange powder, believed to be illegal drugs, were also found. The PSNI also seized fake tablets, scales, ampoules and rolls of labels.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
