Firecrews attend gas cylinder fire

A section of the Gillygooley Road between Omagh and Drumquin has been closed to traffic while fire-fighters attend a gas cylinder blaze.

A 200-metre exclusion zone around a factory close to the cinema, has been declared by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, and the road is likely to remain closed for the next 24 hours

A number of houses and business have been evacuated as a result of the blaze,

including the nearby cattle market and MOT centre.

Screenings at the local cinema have been suspended until the area is declared as safe.
