Shots fired at Strabane home
Police in County Tyrone are investigating an incident in which a number of shots were fired and the living room of a house was ransacked yesterday evening.
Shortly after 11pm, a man and a woman were wakened by noises in the downstairs of their home in the Lisnafinn Park area of Strabane.
When they went to investigate, they discovered that intruders had gained entry to their home and ransacked the living room causing extensive damage.
During the incident, two shots were fired into the living room, and a third shot fired through the window of a child's bedroom.
No children were at home at the time, and no one was injured.
Detectives in Strabane are investigating a motive for the attack, and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed it, or who may have any information in connection to it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Shots Fired At Family Home In Omagh
A woman and two children have been left shaken after a number of shots were fired at a house in Omagh. A family home in the Clonmore Gardens area was targeted at around 6pm on Wednesday evening, 18 December. Shots were fired through the kitchen and upstairs bedroom window of the house. The family inside at the time managed to escape injury.

Two shots fired at south Belfast home
Two shots have been fired at a house in south Belfast early this morning. No one was injured in the attack which occurred at around 12.30am in the Four Winds area of the city. Shotgun blasts were aimed at an upstairs bedroom window and a downstairs living room window in the attack.
