Guns stolen in County Tyrone
Police in County Tyrone have appealed for information following the robbery of a gun cabinet and ammunition in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident happened shortly after 5am, when five males broke into a house in the Eglish Road area of Dungannon and tied up the 16-year-old occupant with telephone cable.
The robbers then proceeded to wrench the gun cabinet off the wall, and made off with a 20 gauge Lincoln shotgun, a 12 gauge shotgun, two .22 rifles, and a 12 gauge Browning shotgun.
They also made off with a quantity of ammunition and cash.
The teenager eventually managed to free himself and raised the alarm.
He was not injured during the incident, however was left badly shaken by his ordeal.
Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to contact police in Dungannon on 87 752525, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Guns and ammunition stolen in south Belast
A quantity of guns and ammunition have been stolen during an armed robbery at a property in south Belfast yesterday evening. The incident happened at around 9pm, when four men – two of whom were armed, one with an iron bar and the other with a hammer, broke into a house in the Balfour Avenue area of the city.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.
