Sportswear and electrical goods stolen from warehouse
A large quantity of new sportswear has been stolen along with a quantity of electrical goods, during a burglary at a warehouse at North Street.
The thieves broke in through a skylight sometime between Friday at 5pm and Monday morning.
Branded clothing including Henri Lloyd, Rockport, Nike, Reebok and Fred Perry sweaters, shirts, tracksuit and shoes were taken, as well as Panasonic DVD recorders, video cameras and Linsar LCD televisions were stolen.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area, especially in the 'quiet' hours of Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Due to the quantity taken police believe a lorry or van may have been used and that the thieves would have been making a lot of noise.
Anyone who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
