Burns pair released from hospital

Two men hospitalised with severe burns shortly after an arson attack in County Armagh in which two people died, have been released from hospital.

Four men, all suffering from severe burns were admitted to a Dublin hospital just hours after 33-year-old Thomas O'Hare and his 21-year-old girlfriend, Lisa McClatchey were doused in petrol and set alight during an attack at their home in Tassagh on November 6 2006.

The pair both died in hospital from injuries they sustained during the incident.

Detectives investigating the double-murder are keen to question the four men. However were not able to do so due to the men's medical condition.

Two other men remain in hospital, where they are no longer understood to be in a critical condition.

So far only one man has been charged in connection with the murders. He was charged with perverting the course of justice and withholding information in relation to the inquiry.
