Citigroup to expand Belfast operation
US-owned financial company Citigroup has announced an expansion of its Belfast operation.
The company is planning to set up a new division in Belfast with the creation of over 100 jobs by the end of the year.
The Invest NI backed expansion has attracted a grant of £1.6 million.
A recruitment drive is expected to see the number of jobs at the company rise to 500.

Belfast Distillery Company To Invest £22.3m In Belfast
Ministers have welcomed an investment of £22.3 million from Belfast Distillery Company at Crumlin Road Gaol. The investment includes plans to regenerate the A Wing of the Crumlin Road Gaol into the J&J McConnell's Distillery and world-class visitor experience, and to create 49 new jobs.

Belfast Telecoms Firm In Scottish Move
Belfast telecommunications company Rainbow has announced it will be setting up business in Scotland. Rainbow Communications will be crossing the Irish Sea in a move expected to create 20 jobs. It is thought the expansion will bring 14 jobs to Rainbow’s new Glasgow office, while six further posts will be created at its Belfast base.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.
