Software reseller appointed for RoI and NI
Rent-IT Systems (UK) has announced the appointment of QM Systems as a reseller of its 123mrp.NET production management software in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The move follows on from QM Systems’ Managing Director Drew McCoubrey acting as a reference for the system for the past five years, which has already established a firm customer base in the region.
Mr McCoubrey said: “My initial exposure to the system was back in 2002 when I was asked to evaluate the system for an international company. I was so impressed with what I saw that I immediately enquired about the possibility of creating an Irish dealership for the product.”
123mrp.NET is provided on a unique business model; it is not sold – it is rented. There are no binding contracts, with customers simply renting the licenses they need on a monthly basis. Licenses can be increased or decreased as required. This allows customers to acquire the system without the massive up-front cost traditionally associated with MRP/ERP systems.
He added: “It is the first software product I have ever come across for the manufacturing sector where there is no need to sell the system using traditional methods. It removes all risk from the customer meaning they have no initial capital sums to pay out for something that may not work for them... there is absolutely no risk that they will get burned if it does not work out.”
Prospective customers also have a unique way to view the product. QM Systems host regular Evaluation Workshops to gauge the product’s suitability. The workshops take no more than a morning, after which, companies are invited to attend 123mrp.NET’s short training programme without any obligation for complete peace of mind. Drew commented; “When we gain a customer then we want to gain a customer for life so it is definitely not in our interest to promote something that does not suit their business. In the UK, 123mrp.NET has seen 39% growth in 2006 due to new customers, with this number already on target to grow more in 2007.”
Managing Director of Rent IT Systems (UK) Guy Amoroso said: “For years, QM Systems have been a huge supporter of 123mrp.NET and now as a reseller, our relationship has moved up to the next level. We look forward to the inevitable increased use of our software through QM Systems.”
Mr McCoubrey concluded: “To acquire the dealership of such an innovative product is a massive boost for QM Systems as the software will enhance our standing in local Manufacturing circles. From the first moment I saw the software I knew it was a winner with its Low Cost, No Risk approach for manufacturing companies. I knew it would only be a matter of time before local companies would start to benefit from its advanced, yet simple and easy to use capabilities. In addition, 123mrp.NET’s flexibility means that it is suited to any type of manufacturing process in any industry which in this day and age makes it a truly remarkable proposition.”
