PSNI to discuss yesterday's motorway disruption
The PSNI are to meet with the Roads Service to discuss the major traffic disruption caused by yesterday's fatal collision on the M2 motorway.
During today's meeting, the PSNI and the Roads Service are expected to discuss how to prevent the same type of disruption to traffic from happening again.
Traffic throughout Belfast City Centre was majorly disrupted during yesterday's rush hour after police closed the M2 between York Street and Greencastle for up to four hours.
One man died during the incident, which happened close to Fortwilliam.
It has since been reported that a man was struck by a bus.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Police have defended their decision for their actions stating that they were obliged to carry out a full and thorough investigation into the death.

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.

Possible Traffic Disruption During Ulster Rugby Match
Police are warning of possible traffic disruption during the Ulster v Newport Gwent Dragons Pro 12 match at the Kingspan Stadium tonight, 05 February. They said there could be disruptions in the following areas - Cregagh Road, Mount Merrion Avenue, Knockbreda Road, Rosetta Park and Ravenhill Road between 5.30pm and 7.45pm and 9pm and 10.30pm.

Crash victim's body exhumed
The body of one of the teenage girls who was killed in a road traffic incident in County Fermanagh at the weekend, has been exhumed. It is understood that after the funeral of Anita Swift, 16, on Tuesday morning, officials discovered that the wrong person had been buried.

M1 Collision Causes Traffic Delays In Belfast
A crash on the M1, which occurred at about 8am this morning and closed two lanes, has now been cleared. The collision happened on the inside lane of the M1 between Stockmans Lane and Broadway. There have been no reports of any injuries. Two lanes of the motorway were closed and caused significant traffic delays across the city.
