Five taken to hospital following road collision
Police in Antrim are appealing for information following a two-car collision in County Antrim.
Five people were injured in the crash on the Seven Mile Straight, including two children who were on their way to school.
The cars collided close to the Shaneogue House Bar and crashed through fencing into a roadside field.
A father and his two children were in one of the vehicles and two men were in another. All have been taken to hospital for treatment. It is understood they were treated for minor injuries and shock.
Meanwhile two men and a woman were taken to hospital after a blue Opal and a white Volkswagen van collided near the Curran picnic area close to Castledawson after 5:00pm yesterday evening.

Five people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Bushmills, Co Antrim. Emergency services were called to the scene on the Dunluce Road at around 6.30pm on Thursday. Two rapid response teams and five ambulances attended the scene of the crash.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.

One Dead In Co Down Crash
A man has died following a crash on the A1 dual carriageway in County Down on Sunday evening, 31 March. The collision happened shortly before 6.30pm between Dromore and Banbridge, close to the road's junction with the Gowdystown Road. The man was driving a Volkswagen Passat car when it collided with a Volvo XC60.
