Man 'set fire to wife’ following dispute
A man accused of setting his wife on fire was today remanded in custody.
Michael Graham, 41, from Harmony Lodge, Doagh in County Antrim was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to a dispute with his wife over the weekend.
Belfast Magistrates Court heard lighter fuel had been poured over and she was then set alight.
The accused has been ordered to appear before the court by video link in four weeks.
The woman was treated in hospital for burns, and has since been released.

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Education Minister Paul Givan has responded to the announcement by several teachers' unions that they plan to ballot their members for industrial action over 2024/25 pay. Earlier this year, the Minister provided funding to successfully resolve the long-running industrial dispute over teachers' pay for 2021-24.

North Coast Beach Damaged After Youths Set Fire To Sand Hills
A North Coast beach has been damaged after youths set fire to the sand hills, according to the PSNI. Police also issued a warning to parents to know where their children are after a significant amount of damage was caused to the Castlerock beach in Limavady. Empty bottles of alcohol were also discovered in the area.
