Jobs Boost For Londonderry Based Stream
Stream, a software services provider based in Londonderry, are to create 300 jobs in the city.
The company with an office in the Ulster Science and Technology Park on Buncrana Road are due to open new premises on the Waterside following the announcement.
Managing Director Jeff Jennings announced that recruitment has already begun and the vacancies will not just focus on technical support jobs like in the past with Stream.
"We're looking for a broad range of people so it's not going to be all technical support like the jobs in the past within Stream," he said.
"We will be looking for people with good customer services experience and from all age groups - people with good empathy - now we are starting to chase the silver surfers, as they call them, the older people getting into broadband."
The company has recently been awarded a substantial new contract.
