Man Charged Over Petrol Bomb Attack

The man charged with the petrol bomb attack in Antrim is expected to appear in court tomorrow.

The 31-year-old male is due at Antrim magistrates court and is charged with a number of offences, including possession of a petrol bomb, according to police.

The incident occurred at 10.10pm on Sunday night in the Dromain Drive area of the town.

The occupants of the house were in bed when they heard a noise outside. A male occupant went outside to find the front garden alight.

It was discovered that a petrol bomb had been thrown, which had broken the outer pane of a double-glazed window of the house.

A police spokesperson said that the fire was extinguished and that there were no injuries.

Detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses to the incident and have urged them to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.

Man Extradited From US Over Historical Child Sex Abuse
