Vehicles Vandalised In South Belfast
Jerusalem Street in the Holylands area of Belfast remains sealed off this morning after vandals set fire to a number of cars.
Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were called shortly after 3.30am to the area, where they found two vehicles had been completely burnt out and another extensively damaged after being set on fire.
Earlier, at around 10.30pm, police received reports that at least 11 cars were vandalised in the area. The damage consisted of mainly broken windows.
One man, understood to be in his 30s, was arrested in Jerusalem Street and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police say there were no injuries.

Police Link Holylands Arson Attacks
Police have linked the burning of six cars in the Holylands area of Belfast, describing the incidents as "suspicious". The vehicles were damaged during a spate of attacks in the university area of the city at the weekend. In the early hours of Saturday morning, two cars were extensively damaged in a fire on Cadogan Street.

Two Cars Destroyed In Dunmurry Arson Attack
Two cars have been destroyed after being set on fire in Dunmurry just before 3am on Tuesday, 04 September. A third car was also damaged in the arson attack which happened in the Riverside area. Fire crews attended the scene and put out the blaze. Police believe an accelerant was used during the incident and an investigation has launched.
