Netcom celebrates a winning formula
Netcom Communications continues to go from strength to strength as the company marked its 15th Anniversary in October.
Against all the trends, Netcom – one of Ireland’s leading independent telecommunications suppliers – has continued to grow despite the economic downturn in the telecommunications industry.
Stephen Kher, Managing Director of Netcom, said: "Netcom are proud to celebrate 15 years of success in an industry which has seen an economic downturn in the market and many job losses and closures. We pride ourselves in having had great success in the face of industry problems and we have not only developed but grown over recent years".
Helping Netcom celebrate their success was Fiona Hurley, former Miss Northern Ireland, and customers from all over Northern Ireland some of whom have been with the company for all of its 15 years.
Those attending the two-day anniversary celebration had a chance to view old telephones and telecoms equipment from as far back as 1987. A storyboard of the company outlining its growth and progression over the 15 years, displayed some fascinating changes and fashions in the sector.
Netcom attributes the continued success to the fact that the company can offer choice, independence, value for money, strong links with manufacturers and most importantly young energetic staff who are enthusiastic, loyal and whose commitment has grown with the company.
With its Head Office in Belfast, and regional offices in Dublin and Scotland Netcom, now employs almost 70 staff.
This not only helps the local business sector, but also builds close relationships with Netcom customers.
