Game Set & Match For Culloden Wing

The new bedroom wing at the Five Star Culloden Estate and Spa in Holywood was officially opened by tennis legends Bjorn Borg and Pat Cash recently.

A total of 26 bedrooms have been added in a £3.5 million investment. The rooms include a mix of appointed bedrooms, suites and two opulent duplex suites.

'The Amethyst Suite', a private spa haven, is the first of its kind in Ireland, it was created especially for couples or individuals who wish to enjoy exclusive ESPA spa treatments in the privacy and comfort of their suite.

Kem Akkari, General Manager of the Culloden said: "The new wing of bedrooms and suites blend seamlessly to the hotel's original stonework.

"We are very proud of what we have achieved and are delighted to be leading the way in bringing world class standards to Northern Ireland."

Man Extradited From Ireland To Face Serious Charges
A 33-year-old man has been extradited from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland to face serious charges. The man is accused of assault causing harm, coercive control, contravention of a safety order, theft, and possession of a weapon. The alleged offences occurred in the Monaghan area between 2020 and 2021.
