Council Workers Forced To Clean Up Dumping Ground

Council workers were left to pick up a mountain of rubbish this morning which was dumped outside recycling centres in Londonderry during a two-day strike.

There were no bin collections because of the industrial strike and motorists are believed to have dumped over 100 bags of rubbish outside the facility.

Local residents of the Lone Moor Road have demanded prosecutions to the motorists involved, and many have taken note of cars registration numbers who were seen dumping rubbish on the site.
