Building Group Announces Redundancies
An Aberdeen-based housebuilder has announced redundancies, BBC Scotland has revealed.
The Stewart Milne Group has announced 44 redundancies across its UK businesses. Meanwhile 73 further jobs are at risk.
It is understood the company was forced to make the cuts due to a further drop in house sales.
Mr Milne – the Chairman of Aberdeen Football Club – founded Stewart Milne Group in 1975, and it has become one of the UK's leaders in the field.
Earlier this year the company already announced it would be losing 300 jobs.
