Rewarding pig's back website reaches NI

Less than two years since a successful introduction into Southern Ireland, Pigsback.com have launched their offers and rewards website in Northern Ireland.

The Pigsback.com website is consumer driven allowing registered members access to exclusive offers from many top brands on one website. When registering, users provide Pigsback with some background detail into their lifestyle and interests allowing Pigsback.com to deliver relevant content in the form of offers and rewards on the website and in email communications.

As consumers interact with the site they are rewarded with 'Piggy Points', which can be redeemed against items such as vouchers, cinema tickets and Pigsback.com merchandise. They can even be used to make a charity donation.

Consumers can also print grocery coupons from the site to save on their weekly shopping. These can be used in all major supermarkets in Northern Ireland, following agreements with Tesco, Sainsburys, Dunnes Stores, Super Valu and all major supermarket and symbol groups. Participating grocery brands include Golden Cow, Coleraine Cheeses, Kellogg’s, Donegal Catch, Gilbey’s Wines, Danone Actimel, and Bewley’s.

Clients signed up for the Northern Ireland launch include Xtra-vision, Open Fairways, First Trust Bank, Winemark, Pizza Hut, C&C, Dundonald Ice Bowl, Fitzwilliam Hotel, Movie House Cinemas, Jameson and Bewleys.

Michael Dwyer Pigsback.com CEO said: “When we started Pigsback.com we were striving to create a new way to bring consumers and brands together for mutual reward.

“This has been achieved by providing each registered member with their own homepage. When they log in they see only those offers which are relevant to them, this is a credential users and marketeers alike have found of great importance.

“It ensures that members are directed toward the offers which are of most interest to them and that the brands are reaching a targeted audience. There is however the option for members to view all offers that are currently available.

“The site also features a daily crossword and competitions providing the opportunity for members to win anything from HMV vouchers or tickets for Chicago The Musical to 10,000 piggy points or a year’s supply of beer from Winemark and that’s definitely on the pig’s back.”

A phenomenal success in Southern Ireland, since the website's launch in July 2000 Pigsback.com has attracted 130,000 registered members and over 200 established brands that benefit from its unique service.
