BNP's NI List Revealed
People with addresses in Northern Ireland who are on the list of British National Party (BNP) members leaked on the internet have been warned to increase their personal security.
The names of more than 10,000 British National Party (BNP) members have been leaked online, prompting calls for a police investigation by the far-right party's leader.
Serving and former police officers, soldiers, teachers and doctors listed as members were in fear for their jobs last night after the party's entire member register was posted on the internet.
The list, dating from 2007, includes the names, addresses, jobs and telephone numbers of more than 12,000 members.
In a statement on the party's website, BNP Leader Nick Griffin said the leak was a "disgraceful act of treachery" adding that the former BNP members involved had subsequently been sacked.
He also said a complaint with Dyfed-Powys Police had been lodged, on the grounds that the publication breached human rights and data protection laws.
NI Regional organiser Kieran Dinsmore said his members were being advised to "take reasonable steps" to increase their personal security.
"We've had death threats from various republican elements in the country (in the past)," he said.
"We are concerned about our details being put out over the web."

DUP Members Quit Over Concerns Direction The Party Is Taking
Many DUP members in the South Down constituency have quit the party over concerns about the direction it is taking under new leader Edwin Poots. Glyn Hanna and Kathryn Owen have resigned, along with other members in the South Down association. At the Association's AGM on Saturday evening Mr. Hanna was removed as Chairman.

Sinn Fein expel party members over McCartney murder
Sinn Fein has expelled two of its members over the murder of Belfast man Robert McCartney, it confirmed yesterday. The party said the two individuals, who have not been named, were expelled because they refused to follow an instruction by party president Gerry Adams to give a “full and frank statement” about the killing.
