Fatal Accident Victim Named

Another victim has been added to the growing toll of people killed on Northern Ireland's roads. The latest casualty - the tenth this year - has been named this afternoon as 33-year-old Anthony Fay, of Teaghy Road, Portadown.

He was killed in a traffic collision near Dungannon this morning.

It is thought he was the driver of a BMW car that was involved in the incident at Tamnamore roundabout shortly before 7am on Monday

No other vehicle was involved.

Police in Dungannon are investigating and are keen to hear from anyone who saw the collision occur, or who came across the scene.

Woman killed in road accident near Dungannon
A woman has been killed in a road crash near Dungannon in County Tyrone. The accident occurred on the Ballygawley Road near to the Killymaddy Visitors Centre. Police say that the woman, who was understood to be in her 20s, but has not yet been named, was a passenger in a Rover car which was involved in a collision with two other vehicles.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

One injured in road crash in Newry
One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on the Rathfriland Road, Newry. The victim is believed to be have suspected concussion and facial injuries. The accident occurred at around 7.30am this morning. The incident involved two vehicles, and the road was closed in both directions.

Two killed on NI roads in two days
A teenage girl has died in a road traffic collision in Co Antrim on Monday. The 17-year-old victim was killed when two cars were involved in an accident on the Garryduff Road near Dunloy just after 1am on Monday. Another person involved in the accident has been taken to hospital however their condition is not known.
