Man Held Over Bangor Murder
A man in his 20s is still being questioned by detectives over the fatal stabbing of a young women in Bangor on Easter Monday.
Police have launched a murder inquiry into the death of 21-year-old Katie Hughes, who was believed to be at a party in Park Avenue in the town when attacked.
The mother of one was rushed to hospital with stab wounds, but later died from her injuries.
The perimeter around the house has been cordoned off as police officers examine the scene.
MLA for the area Alex Easton said he was "shocked and horrified" by the events.
The assemblyman appealed to anyone with information to come forward.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

A man is being questioned by police following the murder of a woman in Co Down. The body of Pauline McConnell, who was believed to be in her early 40s, was discovered in a ground floor flat at Lismore Avenue, Bangor, at about 2.30am on Monday.

Man's Body Recovered From Bangor Marina
Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was recovered from Bangor Marina on Wednesday, 13 May. Police received a report that a man had entered the water shortly after 10.15am. Emergency services and police attended the scene and the body was recovered from the water. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
