They may connect customers through full-fibre or part-fibre broadband, traditional copper telephone lines, cable networks, fixed wireless links or satellite services. The connection available depends on the provider's network and the customer's location. Some ISPs own and operate network infrastructure, while others use networks run by different providers. Services commonly include broadband packages with different connection speeds, data allowances and contract terms, along with a router or other equipment for connecting devices. Providers may offer technical support, email accounts, Wi-Fi services, static internet addresses and options such as web hosting or domain registration. Business customers can also obtain dedicated internet connections, leased lines, managed networks and additional support for multiple sites.
