Severe Burns For Brighton Beach Baby
A five-month-old baby from London suffered 20% burns over his body while his mother relaxed on a beach beside him.
The baby was taken to the Royal Sussex Hospital for treatment after he was spotted by a police officer on a beach in Brighton on Sunday, in temperatures of 25 degrees.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "An ambulance was called for the five-month-old baby who was visiting Brighton from London with his 29-year-old mother. No arrests have been made."
The baby is currently in a stable condition in hospital.

Missing Baby Found 'Safe And Well'
A nine-month-old baby girl who was reported missing from her home in Glouchestershire on Monday has been found safe and well. Maylayah Delaney had been reported missing by her mother shortly before lunch-time on Monday. Police have confirmed that a man from the West Midlands is helping them with their inquiries.

A man has died and four police officers are being treated in hospital following a contamination incident on the edge of the Borders region. Officers were called to a lay-by at Cocklawburn Beach, near Berwick-upon-Tweed just before 8pm yesterday where a seriously ill man was discovered.

Man's Body Found On Brighton Beach
A man's body has been found on Brighton beach. It is understood the discovery was made by a member of the public at around 9.25am on Sunday. A section of the beach was cordoned off to allow emergency services to attend the scene and recover the body. Police have said it is too early to establish how the man died, or if his death is suspicious.

DNA Clues In 1981 'Baby On Beach' Case
Police reviewing the unsolved case of a dead baby girl whose body was found washed up on Weymouth beach in 1981 have made a DNA breakthrough. Referred to by the media at the time as the 'Baby on the Beach' case, the child's body was found on the beach near to Weymouth's pier bandstand by three men who were metal detecting on October 15, 1981.
