Scottish Schoolgirl Sexually Assaulted
Police in Clackmannanshire have appealed for information following the indecent assault of an eleven-year-old girl in Menstrie last month.
The girl was walking along on the Ochil Hills, near to Ochil Road, when she was grabbed and assaulted.
Detective Sergeant Steven McMillan said: "The incident happened some time during the evening of the first week in July. The incident left the girl so traumatised it took her some time to come forward and report the incident to police."
The attacker is described as being in his 20s, of athletic build and around 5' 10" tall. He had short brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing light blue jeans and white trainers. The man also had a Rangers FC logo on his right shoulder and was bare-chested at the time of the incident.
DS McMillan said: "We are keen to hear from anybody who may recognise the description of the man we want to trace.
"In particular, somebody may recognise the description of the tattoo, which had the letters RFC intertwined and stars."
Police are not linking this incident to others which occurred in the area at the end of June.
