Arrests Made In Irish Pork Contamination Scare
An investigation into the 2008 Irish pork contamination scare has led to the arrests of four men in Northern Ireland
The men, aged 25, 27, 29 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation in counties Armagh and Tyrone.
In 2008, all Irish pork products were recalled from supermarkets across the EU and some world markets.
The recall was ordered after meal on a number of farms was found to have had between 80 and 200 times more dioxins than the safety limit.
The scare cost pig producers an estimated 100m euros.
Last month, O'Neill Fuels Ltd, in County Tyrone, were ordered to pay a total of 38.7m euros in damages to Millstream Power Recycling Ltd, in County Wexford.
Millstream, at the centre of the scare, said the oil used had not been tested for dioxins due to their ban in the 1970s.
O'Neill Fuels denied that any fuel supplied contained dioxins.
Last month, the judge at the High Court in Dublin, struck out the case as O'Neill Fuels had not entered a defence.

Derbyshire Street Evacuated Over Bomb Scare
Derbyshire Police have said a number of homes in Clay Cross have been evacuated following reports of a 'suspicious package' in the area. At 2.25am this morning (26 June), police received a report of a suspicious package in Victoria Street. An army bomb disposal team has been called to the scene.

MMR Scare Doc 'Unethical'
A doctor who first suggested MMR vaccinations could lead to autism has been rebuked by a national health watchdog. Dr Andrew Wakefield acted "unethically" by publishing later discredited finding, which had prompted many parents to refuse the vaccine.

Shopping Centre Closed After Fumes Scare
A Birmingham shopping centre has been evacuated and more than 30 people have been given medical treatment, following a chemical scare. Police said a petro-chemical was discovered in the ventilation system of the shopping area of the Bullring centre. Paramedics were called out after staff at the centre complained of feeling dizzy and nauseous.
