Arrests Follow Edmonton Murder
Police investigating the murder of 15-year old Negus McLean in Edmonton have today made a further two arrests.
A 14-year old boy, and a 16-year old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Police were called at 7.25pm on Sunday 10 April to reports of a stabbing in Westminster Road, north London.
Mr McLean suffered stab wounds to the chest and thigh was taken to Royal London Hospital but died later that night.
A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
It is believed that around 13 young black men, believed on bicycles, chased Negus prior to the murder.
An incident room has opened under Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Clayman (HSCC).
He said: "We continue to seek witnesses and those with information about who was responsible for this murder. It is vital that the public, and especially young people, have the trust and confidence to speak to the police in these situations.”
Anyone who can assist should call the incident room.
Four males, aged 14-20, were arrested and were taken to a north London police station. One male is now bailed to return to a north London police station on 18 April pending further enquiries. The other three are now bailed to return to a north London police station on 6 May pending further enquiries.

Father Appeals Over Paralysed Son's Shooting
The father of a teenager paralysed in a shooting incident has joined investigating officers to urge witnesses to come forward. Speaking from his son's hospital bedside Paul Smith said he knew people had information about those who shot and injured Raphael Smith, but couldn't understand why they had not spoken to police.

Police Hunt Following Teen Murder
Police are appealing for information following a murder in Southwark. Teenager Lyle Tulloch, from Peckham was stabbed at Newall House in Harper Road on Saturday. Lyle, 15, was confirmed dead at the scene despite efforts from emergency services. A post mortem gave the cause of death as stab wounds and haemorrhaging.

East London Murder Appeal
Detectives have appealed for information about the murder of a woman in Manor Park. Aliza Ahmed Mirza, 18, a student from Ilford, died on Saturday 3 April. Police had been called to reports of a collapsed female. It is believed she was stabbed while in the Forest View Road area. Miss Mirza was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.

Detectives investigating the murder of Mahad Mohammed in Battersea on Wednesday have arrested two men on suspicion of murder.. On Wednesday around 1.30am, police were called to Wye Street, south west London, close to Pennethorne House following reports of a man suffering stab wounds.

Detectives investigating the murder of Raymond Mitchell have arrested two males on suspicion of his murder. The two men, aged 27 and 17, are in custody at separate south London police stations. On Sunday 17 April, officers were alerted around 6.50am to reports of a man shot in Marcus Garvey Way, south east London.
