James Murdoch Back Before MPs
James Murdoch is to return to the face the committee investigating allegations of phone hacking by News Corporation, as new evidence emerges.
It is believed the formerly tenacious committee will be asking how James, the company's chairman and chief executive, could have been unaware of documents circulating at News Corporation that appeared to show phone hacking at the News of the World went beyond one "rogue".
A number of pieces of new evidence have been emerged since his last high profile hearing with the committee in July, such as the discovery of a phone in the News of the World newsroom that allegedly matched that used in a number of phone hacking incidents.
The culture, media and sport committee will be asking if Rupert Murdoch's heir has misled parliament, while it is understood that the seriousness of the allegations could spell an end of James at News Corp.
Mr Murdoch has said he stands by his last testimony, given in July.
In July, the News of the World was shut down after it was found to have hacked into the voicemail messages of prominent people, including murder victims such as teenager Milly Dowler and celebrities.
