Man Dies In Merseyside Stabbing
A man has died after being stabbed in the neck in a Merseyside Street. The man believed to be in his 30s was found at around 9pm last night with a neck wound. He was taken to hospital but died soon after. The victim is yet to be identified and police are calling for witnesses or anyone who near Kingsway in Huyton at about 21:00 GMT on Tuesday.
TFL To Highlight Olympic ‘Hotspots’
Olympics organisers are to publish a list of hotspots that businesses, Londoners and visitors are being advised to avoid during the Games. Heatmaps showing expected congestion levels at London 2012 will be available on Transport for London's (TFL )website. A web tool giving journey times from key origin and destination points across the capital will also be launched.
Pensioner Killed By Car Thief
A pensioner has been killed after attempting to stop thieves from stealing his car. The 79-year-old was run over by his own car after trying to prevent the robbery in Graham Place, Ashgill, near Larkhall. The incident happened at about 20:10 on Tuesday after the man saw someone trying to take his black Land Rover Discovery from his driveway. Strathclyde Police have launched a murder inquiry.
Three Arrests Made In Nottinghamshire Crash Probe
Three more arrests have been made in connection to the crash which has left a Nottinghamshire police officer in critical condition. Two men aged 25 and 29 have been arrested along with a 36-year old woman. A 32-year old man was arrested yesterday bringing the total number of arrests to four. PC Diederik Coetzee, 54, who was off duty, was hurt in a crash with a car at 18:00 GMT on Friday while cycling in Blidworth Lane, near Blidworth.

Two more arrested over attempted car bombings
Police investigating the attempted car bombings in London and Glasgow airport have arrested two more people. Two men, aged 28 and 25, were arrested in the Paisley area, west of Glasgow on Sunday night Five people are still being held in connection with the attacks, but it is believed that at least one suspect remains on the run.

Two Further Arrests Made In 2007 Disappearance Case
Police in Bradford have arrested two men in connection with the 2007 disappearance of 32-year-old Sajid Saddique . Mr Saddique from Allerton was last seen on the morning of 14 February, over seven years ago. A 48 and 52-year-old were arrested in Bradford. It is understood that police have new evidence suggeting Mr Saddique was murdered.

Two Arrested Over Anti-Semitic Tweets
Two men who posted tweets referencing Hitler and the gas chambers after a Premier League football match on 6 October have been arrested. A 24-year-old man from Croydon and a 22-year-old man from Wiltshire were arrested on Thursday on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.

Arrests Follow International Drugs Cash Swoop
Eight people have been arrested in raids as part of an international police operation targeting a major money laundering network. Four men and three women were arrested on suspicion of money laundering at five addresses in south-east London, during the early hours of this morning. Another man was arrested in Cambridge.
