Man Commits Suicide Over Skype
According to a string of media reports a man has killed himself while chatting to his partner using Skype.
Adrian Rowland, 53, from Reading, Berkshire, is said to have committed suicide on Sunday, last, while talking to his partner using the Internet video phone service. He was in India his partner in the UK.
His partner is believed to have alerted the UK authorities who liaised with Indian police and medical authorities who tried to save him.
Police said the man was found by medics but was later pronounced dead.

Man Jailed Over False Kidnap Claim
A man who claimed to have been kidnapped and demanded a ransom from his partner to secure his release has been jailed. Police were contacted by the distressed partner of Paresh Savji Devraj, who reported that he had been kidnapped and that he would be beaten and killed if she didn't pay £1,000.

A 41-year-old man has been jailed for life for the murder of Michelle Jane Grey in December last year. Carl Anderson was convicted of strangling Ms Grey, his ex-partner, following an argument at his home in Hillfield Street in the Bensham area of Gateshead.

Man Jailed For Shooting Partner
A man has been jailed after he shot his girlfriend in the shoulder and neck with a sawn-off shotgun. Alan Long, 34, of Belper Street, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to two offences of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, two of possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing ammunition and production of cannabis.

Police hunt for murdered nurse's partner
Police investigating the murder of a nurse in Halifax are searching for her partner. The bloodstained body of Helen Stokes, 30, was discovered in her flat in Copley, Halifax around 7:25pm on Monday evening. A post-mortem revealed that she died from head and facial injuries associated with compression of her neck.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.
